Today /Aujourdh'hui.

October 19th, 10am. Hong Kong time. That's when the Nexus Prime and Ice Cream Sandwich come out. Damn. We have to wait until Wednesday? What's that? No? The time difference you say? 10pm TONIGHT? Really??? Cool!!!

So yeah, come back here tomorrow morning for an update...

The Raiders won. The Habs lost. Just saying.

Just when you thought I was done... SUCK IT IPHONE!!! So yeah, one of your "big" improvements is the camera you say? Well my phone, which came out 6 months ago, still beats your "new and improved" camera. HA!

In the still-image category, both the T-Mobile MyTouch Slide 4G and the Samsung Galaxy S II bested the iPhone 4S by a slim margin. The video quality test saw the Samsung Galaxy S II come out significantly ahead of the other phones, and it even outperformed the point and shoot camera they were using as a control for the tests. Next in line was the HTC Sensation 4G, followed by the iPhone 4S finishing in 3rd again.
Apple's iOS may offer one of the simplest camera interfaces, but it's by no means the most powerful. Want manual control over exposure, white balance and ISO sensitivity? The Galaxy S II, Nokia N8 and Amaze 4G let you do it all with just a few taps. Overall, we were most often pleased with photos we shot with the iPhone 4S, despite its lack of advanced features.

And trying to keep with with the big boys is hurting the little boy's battery life too. Pour little iPhone...

Battery life left us slightly less impressed, however. After about two hours of wandering around town, shooting several dozen photos and about 10 minutes of HD video with each device, the iPhone 4S had just 30 percent of battery left

Guess not. Now the iPod touch has a worthy competitor.  Oh, and don't drop your shinny new iPod either. Your Galaxy SII? Go ahead. It'll be fine. This is the last one, I promise (for today).

C'est tout. Thanks everyone for the birthday wishes this past weekend.
